Sometimes or Always?
When it comes to working with people, sometimes things don’t go as planned. Sometimes the outcomes are entirely unexpected or seem unreasonable. Sometimes you are responsible for dealing with circumstances you didn’t create.
-
Sometimes customers or coworkers are not friendly, occasionally get angry and could become disrespectful.
- Always remain respectful, even if it becomes necessary to part ways.
- Sometimes customers don’t respond to your attentive service and professional communication. It can be frustrating if it feels like you’re always traveling the wrong direction on a one-way street. You don’t know what issues they may be dealing with, however, or the underlying reason why they don’t seem to value your vigilant efforts. Quite possibly, they’ve been burned in the past by other service providers and this became their defense mechanism. They’re more aware of your actions than you realize.
- Always be attentive and professional.
- Sometimes it seems that others don’t pull their weight. It could be that they don’t realize how much effort is valued, or they simply don’t care as much as you do.
- Always pull your own weight.
- Sometimes organizational goals aren’t clear.
- Always clarify your own goals.
- Sometimes the people you work with haven’t seen it done another way, or they simply may not be willing to try a fresh approach.
- Always be willing to offer progressive ideas and try them out.
- Sometimes it’s difficult to keep positive thoughts in mind when life happens.
- Always strive for a better tomorrow.
Sometimes or always? It’s always a choice.
